Their new Thrift Shop is stocked daily with fantastic bargains and sort after collectables. Donations of unwanted goods are also accepted at the shop to ensure the sustainability of the new shop for the benefit of animal welfare in the community. Opening times are Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and the first Sunday of every month from 9am to 12noon.
The new Thrift Shop opened on 15 August 2015 and we have had many people visit us every day to buy interesting treasures and bargains. The Thrift Shop has been a dream of the Society’s Manager, Barbara Patrick, for many years now and this dream has finally come true.
The Thrift Shop at Maytime is in addition to the already existing 11 Charity Shops in the Village Green that are at the Kloof and Highway SPCA, 29 Village Road Kloof, and they provide the Spca with income to enable them to continue with their important animal welfare work.
They would appreciate donations of your unwanted items, which they can sell in their shops including cutlery; crockery; ornaments; glassware; electrical appliances; household items; computer equipment; books; toys; linen; clothing; music items; antiques; collectables; material; sewing accessories; jewellery; furniture; tools; garden furniture; garden pots; plants and garden accessories and the list goes on and on. Donations of goods can be dropped off at the Thrift Shop at Maytime Centre or at the Kloof and Highway SPCA daily. They’re also able to collect donations from the Kloof and Highway area. If you have a donation which you would like them to collect, please give Bev a call on 031-7641212 / 3 or email marketing2@kloofspca.co.za
