Steve Mandy is the first 2011 exhibitor for Nourish on Kensington’s ‘Eat & Art’ project. The project, which gives a platform for the work of local artists, also raises money for The Sunflower Fund, the only organisation to build the South African Bone Marrow Registry.

Mandy will be exhibiting from February 10 to March 27. Ten percent of the proceeds from the art work sold will be donated to The Sunflower Fund.
The exhibition ties in with the launch of the “Eat, Love, Save” campaign which officially opens at Nourish on Kensington on Thursday, February 10 at 6.30pm. Tickets to the event are R120 each and include light snacks, complimentary wine and an “Eat, Love, Save” gift. To book contact Stephanie Berry on 078 207 9041 or e-mail steph@sunflowerfund.org.za.
Mandy has entitled his exhibition “Soul Nutrient”. His artwork creates a precise focus on “visual candy, literal beauty, flawless models, exquisite evening wear, contrasting with perspex and resin sculptures designed with one common goal – to provide visual nutrition for the soul”.
