For the final time this year, the Dezzi Raceway in Port Shepstone will host South Africa’s first national drift championship, the Auto Trader SupaDrift Series.
Affectionately nicknamed ‘The Rollercoaster’, Dezzi Raceway will welcome back forty of South Africa’s top drifters to compete in the 6th round of the nine-stop series.
Apart from the smell of burning rubber and the sight of blue smoke, visitors will be given the opportunity to get up close and personal with the modified vehicles, including: a Nissan Sylvia S15 with 2JZ motor; a RAM Mustang purpose-built drift car; and the ever-popular BMW E30 with a Lexus V8 under the hood.
The 6th round will be taking place this Saturday, 17 August at the Dezzi Raceway in Port Shepstone from 9am until late.
Tickets are R80 for adults and R50 for children, and can be purchased at the entrance.
