Support Casual Day 2018, on Friday 7 September! Casual Day raises awareness about persons living with disabilities, raises money and is a fantastic unifying day on the national calendar. This year the Casual Day theme is Be an Everyday Hero with Persons with Disabilities. It’s an invitation to dress up as a hero on Casual Day, wear your Casual Day sticker with pride, and be mindful of a world that is not accommodating of persons with disabilities.
Casual Day has two purposes: to raise money for the work of the National Council of and for persons with Disabilities (NCPD), its affiliate NGOs and associations across South Africa; and to move South Africa along toward being a society where persons with disabilities access education, the economy, social amenities, public transport, the justice system (and so on) just like persons without disabilities are free to do.
Be an Everyday Hero with Persons with Disabilities and buy your Casual Day sticker to show your support. Wear it on Casual Day to prove to the world that you are acting to make the world a better place.
