The Botanical Society of South Africa KZN Coastal Branch presents “Epiphytic Orchids in the KZN Area”, an illustrated talk by Teddy Govender, horticulturist at eThekwini’s Production and Display Department.
In the talk, Teddy shares his passion for the beautiful orchids that can be found growing on trees in the wild in KZN. He will discuss their conservation status, legal aspects and cultivation insights. All are welcome!
The event takes place this Sunday, 22 June at the Durban Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre, John Zikhali Road (formerly Sydenham Road), Durban at 15h00.
Entrance costs R35 for members of BotSoc and the Friends of Durban Botanic Gardens and R45 for non-members; students with cards pay R25. The cost includes refreshments. Please pay at the door. Proceeds go towards BotSoc branch projects.
