Get ready to swing, sway and samba your Sunday away with “The Durban All Stars “on March 25, 2012 at 2pm at “Live”, Stamfordhill Road, Durban.
Call them a supergroup if you like … this is will be the debut performance of the newly formed KZN big band sensation The Durban All Stars and help introduce Durban’s newest state-of-the-art live music venue at the same time.
The big band, featuring living legends such as Mario Montregge and Brian Tusi, and the under the baton of musician extraordinaire Martin Sigamoney, promise audiences a diverse repertoire catering for rockabilly, swing and jazz fans alike.
Karen van Pletsen (the group’s founder) and Clive Gumede will join in on vocals performing songs such as I Feel Good, Seven Day Fool, Hit the Road Jack , Meadowlands and many more.
Excellent, cold beer will be available from the bar as well as “Shisa nyama” in the courtyard.
