The wonderful and uplifting KwaZulu Natal Youth Choir are raising funds to go on a trip to Italy to sing and see the wonderful sights of Europe. To raise funds in this difficult economic climate and punishing exchange rate, they are singing their hearts out at this fundraiser at Clifton College.
This is the oldest youth choir in South Africa, and is an inspiration to all who listen to it. The Executive Headmaster of Clifton, Brian Mitchell, whose son Sean is a member was moved to tears at a recent performance, and if you are looking for a worthy cause, take a listen to these youngsters and dig deep into your wallets. For a lot of them it could be their only overseas trip as they come from diverse backgrounds.
It is a barnyard style evening, so put the 7th June in your diary, take a picnic along, sit back and be prepared to be genuinely moved. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
