Creative Sean Stretch aims to define the Durban narrative.
The talented graphic designer, Sean Stretch, hit the road when lockdown eased. He needed fresh air and freedom. After years building the Station Drive Creative Precinct and his Open Plan Co-working Studio, Sean has begun to look outward again. For him, the search is on for another great Durban initiative.
Sean has spent time stringing together Durban’s physical spaces with photographs, using them as a way to break the ice and dig deeper to meet the people behind the facades and hear stories from communities we have lost contact with.
His pictures are a grave testament to life in downtown Durban, a curious eye keen to reveal insights, new perspectives and angles, splendid colours and cultures, life and energy in abundance.
