The gem that is the Natal Youth Choir is going from strength to strength under the exceptional guidance of Gerard’d du Toit. It is the oldest youth choir in South Africa and they are an amazingly tight unit.
These young people sing together, socialise together, and sometimes even end up marrying each other. At the moment they are concentrating on travelling together. To raise money for their upcoming Italian tour they are working flat out, and the performance tonight at Crawford College and tomorrow at Westville Girls High will both be memorable, fun and musically exceptional.
It is so important to support these fantastic cultural activities in Durban, or we will end up losing them. The Arts teach children so much, and if you are looking for a cause to support this weekend, go and listen. You won’t be disappointed.
