KZN’s longest-standing wedding exhibition, the NWJ Bridal and Events Show, attracts in excess of 5 000 people to the show every year, with brides and grooms-to-be each looking for that perfect ingredient to make their special day one to remember.
From entertainment and photographers, to that little something blue, brides across KZN this year will be heading for the Durban Exhibition Centre from 1 to 3 March 2013.
With an exclusive list of exhibitors and a long-standing sponsor known for its innovation, quality – and sparkle – the NWJ Bridal and Events Show is set to satisfy even the most particular of needs; catering for every pocket and style.
This year Pronovias, one of SA’s top wedding dress providers, will be displaying their collection of gowns. Celebrity fans include Michelle McLean, who will be dressed by Pronovias for her forthcoming wedding. The NWJ Bridal and Events Show marks the beginning of a new era for the company, as they search for a studio in the city, the first one to open in KZN! Pronovias is one of many well-respected wedding dress providers who will be exhibiting at the show, including Olivelli, Bridal & Fabric World, Jasmins and more.

A broad range of photographers will be at the show this year, including the world-renowned Brett Florens. Florens was the exclusive photographer for Kirsty Gallacher and Paul Sampson’s celebrity wedding in Spain, which was featured on the cover of British Hello! magazine. He will be personally managing his stand and offering brides insight into the three poses to master before their big day.
Functions for Africa – an event company that facilitates high end, luxurious weddings – is one of the top wedding organizers at the show this year. Their portfolio features several high profile weddings, including Edward Zuma’s, for which they transformed an abandoned golf course into a luxurious venue for 500 guests. A number of creative, well-respected décor and planning companies will be at the show, to cater for a function of any nature.
A wedding fashion show will take place each day, featuring designer dresses, the latest in men’s fashion and a few naughty surprises.
Whether you’ve just started planning the big day, or looking for finishing touches, the 2013 NWJ Bridal and Events Show promises to help you find what you need to make your special day into the one you’ve always dreamt of.
