Darryl Hofmann and his Whole Food team will kick off the New Year by hosting two great markets: the Bulwer Food and Craft Lovers Market in Bulwer Park, Glenwood on Sunday 2 February and the Durban Night Market on the grounds of Docklands Hotel on Thursday 6 February 2014.

The Bulwer Food and Craft Lovers Market is a morning market with great food and family activities.
Hofmann has carefully chosen stall holders to create a deli-vibe – allowing visitors to purchase produce from the stalls, and assemble a meal picnic-style.
Included in the stallholders’ mix are fresh and fabulous foods; hand-made craft and decor items; gift ideas; collectables and bric-a-brac; new and vintage garments; old and new books; leather craft and stalls supporting various charities and NGOs.
Proving laid back acoustic vibes for a Sunday morning soundtrack will be Ross Charles – a Durban-based singer/songwriter. Developing his music style in venues from Durban to Ballito, his music ranges from old school classics to modern day favourites.
There will be fun activities for the kids, and the children’s play area is operational.
The Durban Night Market will take place four days later at the Three Cities Docklands Hotel, with the range of products on display evolving to focus on Durban’s top creatives and funky, cutting-edge design, handcrafted and bespoke items.
Part of the attraction of the Night Markets is the fabulous open air live music on offer. This time music will be courtesy of great Durban band, Lieutenant Vinyl.
Lieutenant Vinyl is a three piece rock ‘n roll band inspired by 90’s grunge. The band consists of Paul Edy (lead vocals/ guitar), Brett Edy (bass) and Michael Wagner (drums). They will be performing between 6:30pm and 9:30pm.
Three Cities Docklands Hotel can be found at the corner of Mahatma Gandhi and Browns Avenue. There is ample parking at Docklands – with additional security.
