As part of the Umhlanga Summer Festival, a beauty pageant will be held on the Millennium Beach Stage on 11, 18 and 21 December.
The Umhlanga Beauty Pageant will be held on the Millennium Beach Stage, with two heats on Wednesday 11 and 18 December from 12pm until 1pm, with the finals taking place on 21 December.
The competition is open to girls 16 years of age and older. It is recommended that they enter online ahead of time.
The beauty pageant will be co-ordinated and MC’s by Kevin Ellis.
This year the Umhlanga Summer Festival, which takes place in the coveted coastal resort north of Durban, is scheduled to take place in and around Umhlanga from 7 to 22 December.
The year-end carnival festival will provide interesting day and evening activities for visitors to the north coast resort catering for both young and old.
The event is hosted by Umhlanga Tourism under the current chairmanship of Peter Rose. Umhlanga Tourism has been serving the Umhlanga community for 25 years.
