Ouch!! Referee Nigel Owens was taken out big time in the classic SA v New Zealand clash at Soweto’s FNB Stadium.
While it was a disappointing match for the Boks, the highlight must have been the unfortunate upending of ref Nigel Owens, who, to be fair, had had a pretty good game up this point. Juan Smith made contact and then Schalk Burger and Jimmy Cowans just mowed him down. Ouch.
