Rugby’s really in the news at the moment, what with the controversial Springbok European tour, drug test failures and now the disappointing Bok loss to the Scottish. But let’s not forget to mention (yet again) that the Sharks are the 2010 Currie Cup holders. Yes please! Oh, and lest we be criticised as being too negative about the Boks, they did win their first two Tests of the current tour against the Irish and Welsh.
Continuing in a rugby vein, our readers voted in our poll in favour of the Boks: 64% said that the Springbok representatives should be allowed to turn out in the country’s premier domestic rugby competition, the Currie Cup. While 36% were against, this is a pretty solid endorsement of the current system that continues to unearth solid gold talent (Keegan Daniel, Lwazi Mvovo, Pat Lambie etc etc).

Look out for our new poll. The question: What are you planning this festive season? Going away on holiday, or enjoying the Christmas season at home? Look for polls (bottom right section of the home page) and cast your vote.
