February 1, 2012: After two successful dates in 2011, the first Wonder Market of 2012 takes place at Chris Saunders Park opposite Gateway on Sunday, February 5.
The market will offer the usual mix of fresh, specialty foods with selected funky retail options, plus some newcomers added to the mix. These include Colombo coffee (for java junkies) all natural ice cream from Seaside Café, gourmet burgers from Wild Meats (drool) and, on the other side of the food scale, vegan snacks from Bedouin.
Look out for the ever-growing green section: We like Home Organic and Wizzard Worms. Go see what they’re getting up to, it’s guaranteed to provide plenty food for thought.
On the retail side, there’s more than enough to stir interest: Super cool products from Mooi and iKhaya showcase talented local clothing and decor designers; bamboo iPad holders from Swell Accessories; aroma-loaded organic soaps; collectible vinyl records from Khaya Records (remember vinyl), and the list goes on.
