The day begins with an early morning wake-up call for the sunrise game drive in the comfort of open game-viewing vehicles. Tea and coffee along the way whet the appetite for a hearty breakfast served on our return at mid-morning.
High tea (served at 2pm), again is a decadent experience, filling the bellies ahead of the sunset game drive. The game drives are lead by a professional game ranger and ably assisted by a highly skilled tracker, ensuring the guests sightseeing experience is of the highest standard. Experiencing the sun set behind the hills in the Zululand bushveld, while sipping a glass of wine overlooking a water hole experiencing the true beauty of the bush, is a memorable experience.
Dinner at Thanda Safari Lodge is a special occasion with attentive staff ensuring every need is met. The chef is happy to accommodate any dietary requirements and special requests from hungry children. Dinner is a three-course affair offering authentic African food including kudu carpaccio and an ostrich fillet for the main course.
