Congratulations to all those pupils who helped SA to a 74% pass rate in 2012! The hard work of students and teachers has paid dividends, with increases across the board.
In the photo: One of Kearsney’s top achievers, Craig Kirsten (centre), who got 8 distinctions, gets a lift from Dolphins U19 team-mates Senuran Muthusamy, Kyle Simmonds and Mark Airey (KCOB 2011). Craig is currently playing 12th Man for the Dolphins.
A special highlight is Kearsney College’s achievement of having six pupils make the IEB’s Outstanding Achievement list of South Africa’s Top 78 candidates (the top 1% of learners). Only one other independent school in South Africa matched this achievement.
