The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway will allow audiences to experience the songs and music that made our world a better place, and still do, when they bring Memorable Melodies & Song to their stage for two shows only. This trip back in time will take place on and on Sunday night, 13th May, for an extra special Mother’s Day treat, and again on Saturday afternoon, 19th May.

The talented eight-piece cast will perform those magical melodies and songs made famous by icons such as Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Neil Diamond, Louis Armstrong, Edith Piaf, Cliff Richard, Michael Bublé and many more.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a trip down memory lane for sing-along songs like Over The Rainbow by Judy Garland; My Way and New York, New York by Frank Sinatra; Tell Him and You Don’t Bring Me Flowers by Barbara Streisand; Beautiful Noise and America by Neil Diamond; and let’s not forget What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. These songs have a special place in our hearts and you will always treasure these melodies, so don’t miss your chance to relive them.

The world-class cast comprises of Kyle Grant as host, and he will be joined on lead vocals by Percy Smith, Shaun V, Petro Liebenberg and Samantha Tirivacho; along with dynamos Jason Guile and Johan Liebenberg on guitar and vocals. The band is made up of Raymond Verster on keyboards, Mark Freel on bass guitar, Chad Harbott and drums and Tagan Bailie on violin.

The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway will also be staging their usual Sunday matinee performance of their current show, Moonshadows, on Mother’s Day, 13th May. the show’s line-up of songs includes Whole Of The Moon, Sweet Home Alabama, Hurts So Good, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Hotel California, Rhinestone Cowboy and From This Moment.
