Under An African Sky’s 2014 “African Sentiments” calendar has been launched, containing breathtaking wildlife images from locations all across Africa.
Proceeds from the calendar will go to the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) for the construction of a new and improved baboon enclosure.
CROW was founded over 30 years ago and was one of South Africa’s first dedicated wildlife rehabilitation centres. Today, it is Durban’s only registered wildlife rehabilitation centre dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of all indigenous wildlife found in KwaZulu-Natal.
CROW assists over 3000 injured and orphaned animals across KwaZulu-Natal every year. Under An African Sky has partnered with CROW yet again to create another highly acclaimed limited edition calendar that will be distributed worldwide in an effort to raise funds for animal welfare.
The 2014 “African Sentiments” calendar includes 14 high-gloss A2 pages of professional wildlife images, presented in an elegant gift box, along with a free single page 12 month calendar, selling for R170 (excluding postage). 
The charity will also be giving away 15 framed pictures, signed by CROW ambassador and Springbok rugby player Bismarck du Plessis.
“I have pledged my support to CROW and the Under An African Sky Calendar campaign, because I know at the end of the day it’s helping to ensure a better life for wild animals in need,” says du Plessis.
