Vote for Kloof-based musician Jordi in the Converse Get Out of the Garage competition.
Jordi is a talented, 22 year old singer-songwriter who performs a folk-based style of indie pop reminiscent of Bon Iver and S. Carey.
Hs passion for music started when he was just 5 years old and he has played in numerous bands since the age of 12. His parents were both very musical, with his mom playing the piano and his dad the guitar.
His song “Headed for the Shore” has been entered into the Converse Get Out of the Garage competition, the winner of which will fly out to London to play a show at the famed 100 Club, as well as New York to record the winning track.
The 100 Club is a legendary British venue, playing host to some of the biggest names in music history including The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Louis Armstrong, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan.
Jordi is hoping the Converse Get Out of the Garage competition is going to help him further his career in music and gain him some much-needed recognition for his art.
