Kim Pech tells how she and her husband Jarrett began B.O.N Natural Oils. “My husband Jarrett and I started our married life by resigning from our jobs, leaving Johannesburg and buying a farm outside Richmond in KwaZulu-Natal. We went from slick Jo’burg lives to rustic farm living. Jarrett took over a third generation family business producing eucalyptus oil in bulk quantities for the pharmaceutical industry. Our new friends and neighbours, who were very interested in our business, kept asking for small bottles of oil to try at home. So began the idea of a retail product range.
A few years later, when I was pregnant with our first child, Stephen, I asked Jarrett to create a tissue oil for me with natural oils that would be safe, nourishing, and would really work.
Jarrett ordered various oils which he blended in our kitchen. Months of trial and error, using me as the guinea pig, began. I used the blends throughout my pregnancy and by the time Stephen was born we had a product we loved and trusted. Our Liquid Gold Pure Tissue Oil was born and so B.O.N Natural Oils took off.
It’s amazing to think that from our factory in Hilton, we now produce more than a ton of Pure Tissue Oil every month for customers all over the world.
We have grown our natural range to a full range of skincare products. Most recently we launched B.O.N Natural Baby range which consists of a 100% Natural Baby Wash and Baby Cream.
Since launching seven years ago, what makes us happiest is the thousands of testimonials we receive from satisfied customers. Being able to offer affordable, natural products that really work, is what drives us more than anything else.”
