These bath fizzes are full of fizzy fun! Watch them explode with delicious flowery scents as they melt in the bath. They’re the perfect gift for anyone who deserves a relaxing time.
You will need: • Blue food colouring
• Lavender scented oil • 100g citric acid
• 200g bicarbonate of soda • 2 tsp olive oil
• Water sprayer • Sugar stars • Ice-cube tray/mould to make shapes
Method: Combine the citric acid, bicarb and olive oil in a mixing bowl and mix. Stir the food colouring into the mixture. Add about 10 drop of scented oil and mix well.
Spray about seven squirts of water and mix well. The mixture is ready when it clumps together (try squeezing it together with your hands). Use a clean, dry ice cube tray or similar mould. Sprinkle sugar star decorations into the mould/ice tray. Spoon in the mixture and press it down firmly into the mould. Leave to set for two hours, then pop them out of the mould Fill a clean, dry, airtight jar with fizzers and decorate with a bow and a card.
