Beat the Burrito Challenge!

By The Ridge Magazine26/11/20152 Mins Read

On 4 December 2015, Four15 will be launching their very first ‘Beat the Burrito Challenge’ to the Durban North community. In order for customers to complete the challenge, and win an assortment of prizes, they must purchase (R125) and eat a giant burrito (weighing around 2kg) in the short space of 10 minutes!

The double-wide burrito will be made with two giant tortillas, wrapped into one enormous Mission Burrito combined with a fiery Four15 salsa. Other ingredients included are cilantro & lime rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, guacamole and your choice of grilled filling (beef, chicken or tofu).

In order to win, customers must follow a number of ridiculous rules, such as wearing a sombrero and a real (or fake) moustache throughout the challenge. The prize includes a photo in Four15’s Hall of fame, an ‘I completed the Beat the Burrito Challenge’ T-shirt and a R100 meal voucher for Four15. Failure to complete the challenge will result in your picture being placed in their ‘Hall of Shame’, forever.

All proceeds generated by the challenge on launch day, will go to Four15’s dedicated charity, Ubuntu Youth (www.ubuntuyouth.org).

Ubuntu Youth is an after-school program for high school students that seeks to provide a strong educational and life-skills foundation, that is often overlooked in rural public schools. Founders of Four15, Ken and Michele Fourie, who have formed a close bond with Ubuntu Youth directors, Alyssa and Ashley, thought the Challenge would be a fun way for the residents to get involved, and give back to the community.

Four15 invites everyone to join in on the festivities on 4 December 2015 (Challenge Launch Day), and attempt to conquer the Beat the Burrito Challenge, while showing their support for a worthy cause.
