The body of a young white male was found in the river about 2km downstream from Splashy Fen. The discovery was made by a farmworker at around 11.30 am this morning.
The deceased is Craig Steynberg, the 23-year-old who went missing at the festival sometime on Sunday.
The SAPS will not release any further information at this stage since their investigation is ongoing. SAPS spokesman Colonel Naiker confirmed that a post mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
