If it’s fun for the whole family you’re looking for this June and July then save these dates because the East Coast Radio House & Garden Show is inviting the whole family to ‘Make Yourself at Home’ from 28 June to 7 July at the Durban Exhibition Centre.
While your kids are kept busy in the Melissa and Doug play space, you get to explore the latest home décor and garden trends and browse the best of what local designers, creators and makers have to offer, at your leisure. This year, your kids will be hosted by the Magic Bean Foundation – an organisation that specialises in entertaining children with fun educational activities, arts and crafts and interactive exercises. While you’re soaking up the inspiration, or shopping up a storm, you can know that your kids are learning new skills and making friends.
For the bigger kids, there’s Tourism KZN’s virtual-reality experience where they can feel like they’re surfing on Durban’s golden mile or zip-lining across a deep gorge.
Children under 12 enter the show free of charge.
