The team from Build It in Botha’s Hill have branched out, bringing their expert DIY solutions and low prices to Oxford Village, Old Main Road, Hillcrest.
Brett and Grant Weyer (pictured) took over the running of Botha’s Hill Hardware from their father Ralph in 1994. What started with a 100m² independent retailer grew to 1 500m² before they joined Build It in 2000 and constructed the 4 500m² premises next door on Old Main Road.
Living in Winston Park for the past 36 years, the Weyers have helped local residents build and maintain their homes and businesses for 20 years. “We pride ourselves on service and being able to offer genuine solutions to any building or DIY problem,” says Brett. “We also do not like to be out-priced and will go out of our way to keep costs down. We want our customers to be happy so that they keep coming back.”
It’s this commitment to their customers that has seen Botha’s Hill Build It develop a loyal client base. Now, shoppers can enjoy the same quality range of products tailored to the local market in Hillcrest. “Hillcrest Build It is your one-stop DIY shop with solutions for everything from the garden to decorating, electrics, plumbing and general hardware,” says Grant. “Shoppers looking for building materials will be able to order from Hillcrest, with materials being held at the Botha’s Hill store.”
Some of Brett and Grant’s long-standing staff from Botha’s Hill have moved to the new Build It store, ensuring the same great service and expert advice. “We’ve interviewed over 100 people to find the right team to join them,” says Brett.
“We are excited about our bigger footprint in the Highway area and look forward to welcoming customers, new and old, to the Hillcrest store.”
