The Straits Times newspaper, based in Singapore, reports that for about five months, sales manager Soo Ee Hock had surreptitiously filmed under the skirts of women with a black camera pen clipped to his laptop bag while travelling on escalators.
The 36-year-old sales manager was caught in July last year, and had captured 201 images of women’s undergarments at various locations around the city-state.

The Straits Times said Soo pleaded guilty to 12 charges of intruding into the privacy of women by video-recording “upskirt” images. He was finally revealed when an unknown woman at Junction 8 in Bishan alerted a cleaner that a ‘pervert’ was trying to record upskirt images. Security officers tailed him and he was later arrested by police.
