December 2010: This year’s spectacular First National Bank “Dolphins by Starlight” at uShaka Marine World dolphin stadium, from December 14 to 18, is definitely the place to splash off – or is it kick off? – the festive season.

According to Events and Entertainment Manager, Wayne Scott, who also hosts the show, this is the best place to make merry and enjoy the holiday spirit which is all about family, songs and laughter.

It’s also a time to look back on the year South Africa hosted the World Cup and spread goodwill across the world.
To celebrate this occasion Santa has sent the “naughty but nice” elves Albaster Snowball and Strawberry Shortcake ahead to make sure all is ship-shape for his grand entrance with Mrs Claus.
This is a show that really gets into the Christmas groove with songs that include everything from Jingle Bells to Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Have Yourself A Merry Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock and Feliz Navidad.
Much loved Christmas carols such as Silent Night, Joy To the World and Joyful Joyful add a nostalgic touch.
Debonair
Stars of the show are Durban diva Shelly McLean, the charming and debonair Clive Gumede, Frank Graham as Santa and Judith Hawthorne as Mrs Claus, as well as Liam Magner and Karen Logan as the mischievous elves, the Durban Gospel Choir and a live concert band. SeaWorld’s graceful dolphins will, of course, take centre stage, reminding us to care for our oceans!
This fun filled family show is brought to you by First National Bank and uShaka Marine World. They invite you to give a special gift to needy children this Christmas – a toy for the East Coast Radio’s Toy Story.
Tickets available at Computicket or uShaka Marine World at R95 for adults and R75 for children under 12. Shows start at 6.30pm for 7pm. For more information, contact 031 328 8000.
