Join The Glen Shopping Centre this year for an unforgettable Carols by Candlelight experience on Friday 7 December at the food hall, from 6.30pm to 8pm.

This exciting, fun-filled family event will wow customers with these highlights:

Marionette Extravaganza 30 minute show

The talented Marionette performer has entertained children and adults alike for the last 20 years with her beautiful marionettes, puppets and excellent ventriloquism.

Ndlovu Youth Choir

This vibrant youth choir has been entertaining audiences since its inception in 2009. The choir has profoundly affected the lives of the choristers and demonstrates the potential of any human being to achieve excellence.

Santa’s Arrival

A cute interaction between Santa’s Helpers on stage will herald in Santa’s arrival. Assisting Santa with his meet and greet will be Pete the Pup, Gingi and Ginger, Sally the Squirrel, Christmas Tree, Snowman and two Christmas Fairies.

The Mascots will hand out sweeties to all the children in the area. Once Santa has made his grand entrance, everyone will have the chance to sit on Santa’s lap and take photos.

Other exciting activities taking place this Festive Season at The Glen include photos with Santa commencing on 7 December, gift wrapping for charity stations located throughout the centre starting on 15 December and for your shopping convenience; extended trading hours will start on 10 December. Open your hearts this festive season with the Saint Mary’s Children’s Home Tree of Love. Simply remove a tag from the tree located at the Customer Care Desk, buy a gift for the child on the tag and hand the gift to the friendly staff at the Customer Care Desk or Centre Management Offices. Father Christmas will ensure all the children receive their gift to open on Christmas Morning.
