Acclaimed jazz artist Natalie Rungan is set to perform at the Shongweni Farmer’s & Craft Market on Tuesday, August 9as part of a special Women’s Day celebration that promises to be a fun-filled, family day out with good food, vibrant craft stalls and great live music in a relaxed country setting.

Running from 10am to 5pm, the all-female line-up also includes dynamic Durban songstress Chloe Clark, acoustic duo Not Fat, Just Fluffy and singer-songwriters Erin Fourie, Cyndi Kritzinger, Kasia, Kaiti Faul and Shannon Connolly.

Just half an hour from Durban, the venue offers large covered seating areas, lush open spaces and spectacular views of the nearby Kirk Falls.  There will also be a kids’ zone, as well as a wide variety of food stalls selling delicious artisan fare, plus local craft beer and wine.

Advance tickets are available at www.quicket.co.za and cost R70 for adults and R30 for kids under 12.  Tickets will also be on sale at the gate on the day – adults pay R100 and kids R30.  Children under four get in free.

Gates open at 9am.  No refreshments or chairs may be brought into the venue, but blankets are welcome.  For more information, visit www.c-weed.com or contact 031 563 0824.
