A collision on the M13 Fields Hill west-bound, involving a delivery vehicle carrying gas bottles and two light motor vehicles, left two people with moderate injuries on Tuesday afternoon.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the one light motor vehicle crushed up against the Armco barrier with the overturned delivery vehicle pressed into it and gas cylinders across the freeway. The second motor vehicle was just behind it with damage to the front.
The drivers of the delivery vehicle and light motor vehicle sustained moderate injuries and were treated for suspected neck and back injuries before being transported to Hillcrest Private Hospital for further medical care.
Traffic was severely affected in the area and the necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
