Craft Republic Festival

By The Ridge Magazine28/10/20131 Min Read

Come and experience a wonderful array of craft beers and food at the Craft Republic Festival at Chris Saunders Park on Saturday 2 November.

Eight micro and independent craft breweries have been selected to exhibit their beers, with flavours ranging from alcoholic ginger beer to ales and lagers.

Breweries from Durban and KZN include Old Main, Standeven, Robson and Unity Brassiere.

The other labels – Darling, Citizen, Dragon and Everson Breweries – are from the Western Cape.

The event will take place from 11am until 8pm, with the park transforming into a vibrant al-fresco piazza with hay-bales and food outlets offering a myriad light meal and brunch alternatives.

There will also be live music for entertainment.

Tickets cost R80 through Computicket or R100 at the door. No under 18s allowed. Young children accompanied by parents are welcome.
