Cricket fanatics will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when their two universal passions of cricket and entertainment collide in a star-studded affair at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday, January 9, 2011. The action begins with a Standard Bank International Pro20 between South Africa and India at 2.30pm followed by a Bollywood extravaganza to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the arrival of Indians in South Africa.
The cricket match will also serve as a farewell to a great servant of the South African game, Makhaya Ntini, who retires from all forms of cricket.
The New Age Friendship Celebration Concert will include Bollywood heavyweights Sharhrukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra as headline performers. A number of South African artists will also be featured including Locnville, HHP, Liquideep, Drum Cafe and 1st Project.
Info: Tickets to this event include both the cricket match and concert. Tickets, priced from R350 to R450, can be purchased from TicketPros online www.ticketpros.co.za, at PostNet outlets or via the TicketPros call centre on 087 151 4400.

Since the world cup in SA ticket prices for any and all events have sky rocketed. Have organisers of the different events tapped into the public willingness to pay astronomical and unprecedented prices? It stinks that its so expensive to take a family on an outing; previously resonable venues such as the bird park, snake park etc have been closed down ….stop the greed !!!!
Does anyone know where I can get tickets for this match. I know it’s sold out but is someone that’s not going selling their tickets; I need two tickets.
