Imagine the excitement when a group of boys went roaring on Harley Davidson motorcycles from Umhlanga to Umdloti.
Members of the Durban Harley (Harley Davidson motorcycles) Owners Group (HOG) took seven boys on a “Captain Courage” outing from Umhlanga, on Harleys, to Umdloti.

Ranging from 8 to 14 years old, the boys all suffer serious illnesses and are on medication for the rest of their lives. The “Captain Courage” programme challenges them to take on their fears, and engage in meaningful life experiences.
The HOG club took the lads from Umhlanga, where the Harley Store is based, to Umdloti, where Reach for a Dream staff had set up a picnic on the beach. The HOGs challenged the boys to a soccer game . . . the result, Hogs 2 – Boys 6.
Each boy received a medal and a T-shirt to celebrate their success.
