How beautiful are these tall ships, due to dock in Durban on 13th May? Tecla, Europa, and Oesterscheide are the three historic vessels who are coming into port and members of the public will be able to go on board and help with rigging and other essential tasks, and you don’t even need any sailing experience.
The Tecla was built in 1911, the Europa in 1913 and the Oesterscheide is the biggest restored Dutch Tall Ship sailing today. If you feel you want more than a day on board, you can join the adventure from Durban to Mauritius for between 3000 and 4000 euros.
