East Coast Radio Durban Day is all set to take place at Moses Mabhida’s Peoples Park on Sunday 8 September 2013.
The annual family-orientated music show will see some of SA’s biggest bands take the stage, with the full line-up including Lira, Mi Casa, Mango Groove, Toya Delazy, Goldfish, Zakes Bantwini, Prime Circle, and ‘Be the Band’ competition winners The Kickstands.
“We’re so excited about this year’s line-up. Not only does it feature some of the biggest names on the South African music scene at the moment, there is also something for everyone. East Coast Radio Durban Day has become a massive event in this province and sees family and friends come together to enjoy the best in local music in a laid-back setting,” says East Coast Radio’s Trish Taylor.
Lira, who was also a part of last year’s line-up, made note of the show’s great atmosphere. “It is a lovely mix of Durbanites from all walks of life, I absolutely love the vibe.”
Zakes Bantwini is also looking forward to performing some of the new material from his upcoming album. “My new album is going to be done so I’m going to be performing my new songs. That is one thing that I am very excited about.”
Tickets are available from Computicket at R120 each for a limited time only, and will thereafter be R150 per person.
