Albert Falls Dam and Game Reserve Between the rolling Karkloof hills, just 24km from Pietermaritzburg, lies one of KwaZulu-Natal’s largest dams. On its shores you’ll find the ideal family resort. Albert Falls has 110 camp sites – 60 at Notuli, overlooking the game reserve and 50 at Pelican Bay overlooking the dam.
Hazelmere Dam and Resort
Tucked away just 40km north of Durban city centre, you’ll discover the tranquillity of one of the north coast’s hidden treasures. There are 35 demarcated sites with electrical points and each site accommodates up to six people.
Bon Accorde Resort
At Bon Accorde, sister resort to Albert Falls on the shores of the dam, tranquillity rules. There are 25 campsites, their location making the most of Bon Accorde Resort’s waterside position.
Inanda Dam and Resort
Inanda Dam and Resort is set right beside the water’s edge with stunning views of the surrounding hills. You can choose from 40 electrical campsites or one of the additional sites where no electricity is provided.
Nagle Dam and Game Reserve
Guarded by the mystical splendour of KZN’s Table Mountain, cupped in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, lies Nagle Dam and Game Reserve. Nagle can even hire you a tent complete with bed and linen to enjoy one of the 40 sites.
