A curry house in the UK has promised to cool down its “world’s hottest chilli” competition after two entrants ended up in the emergency room, the Daily Mail reported.
Everyone knows the Brits fancy themselves as modern day curry champions, but here’s more proof that ous who handle the world’s hottest curry are from Durban.
Competitors who tucked into the extra-hot Kismot Killer curry were left writhing on the floor in agony, vomiting and fainting.
Two British Red Cross workers were overseeing the event at the Kismot Indian restaurant in Edinburgh but became overwhelmed by the number of casualties.
Restaurant boss Abdul Ali admitted he would have to “tone down” the fiery dish, and the Scottish Ambulance Service warned him to review his event. Apparently entrants have to be over 18 and are required to sign a legal disclaimer.
Clearly they weren’t brought up on a House of Curries, Goundens and Brittania diet.
