The Gary Player Invitational Golf kicks off at Zimbali on Thursday 22 November 2012 and runs until Sunday.
We must all hope the weather improves, as not only will celebrities, businessmen and international golfers be strutting their stuff on the course, but this wonderful event has raised over $50 000 0000 over the 13 years it has been running for some incredible causes.
This year, Wings and Wishes, an organisation that supports children who cannot access medical care, is one of the beneficiaries. They are doing fabulous work and now help at least a child a day.
The format of the event is unique in that a celebrity plays with two businessmen and a professional golfer in a four ball.
If you are keen to go along and watch, tickets are R75 from Computicket, and kids go free. This really is a world class event, and it’s down the road, so have a little drive and support a wonderful cause.
