Hirsch’s Ballito was recently voted (by the group’s management) as the company’s top Branch of The Year out of the 12 branches in the Hirsch Group. Their prize included a trophy and cash for a team-building event.
The Hirsch’s Ballito branch voted unanimously to donate the money they had been awarded to the underprivileged one being children’s homes that fall under the umbrella of Summer Hill House, a non-profit organisation at Etete on the North Coast providing homes for orphans and abandoned children.

“We asked Paula Owen, the Project Manager of Summer Hill, what the children needed, and she told us that, as none of them had shoes, that would be a good start. Needless to say, we managed to buy lovely shoes for all the children with our prize money and gave them out to all the children. We also bought them footballs to keep them busy after school,” said Glenda Thompson, PR Consultant for Hirsch’s Ballito.
