The Inquirer reports that while the super, cool, magical Ipad is supposed to be changing the lives of its owners, a third of them have done nothing with it.
According to a survey from the beancounters at Nielsen, a third of Ipad owners have never downloaded an app on the device.
This means that they’ve bought it and done little with it. Which confirms the point that it’s just something many are buying with little idea of what they can use it for.
One of the few things that the keyboardless netbook can do is read e-books, but if a third of its buyers don’t do that, or haven’t bought a game, then it must be sitting around gathering dust. Four percent of US households now own a tablet, Nielsen said, so based on those comments one per cent of the US probably wish they hadn’t bought one.
