Umhlanga’s Jessica Yallup made it into the Idols top 10 in a tense show on Tuesday night. S’posh and Durban’s Peter G were voted out.
Jessica Yallup survived a tense night of voting to progress to the Idols Top 10, a great achievement for the red-haired “Avril Lavigne look-alike”.The unfortunates to end up on the wrong side of voting were Peter G and S’posh.
The night included performances by rockers Prime Circle and Durban North’s rising star Lize Heerman.
Jessica’s comments on her Idols success: “Top 10! The universe has truly blessed me with all your love and support. I couldn’t do it without you – I sincerely thank every one of you for voting and supporting me with your kind words.
“My new chapter begins and I hope it’s one of many, many pages. My heart goes out to S’posh and Peter – love you guys and trust that great things await you both.”
