Kids Emporium – the designer experience

By The Crest Magazine07/09/20163 Mins Read

From maternity to baby and beyond, Kids Emporium will help make your life simpler, safer and more beautiful

Family owned and run, Kids Emporium Hillcrest is an indispensable resource for parents. As a new mum, owner Caryn Alves knows the struggles of motherhood and is able to advise on what products will suit you best. “We love getting to know our customers and being part of their journey – seeing them come in with a bump, then a baby, then a toddler,” she says.

Kids Emporium offers a designer experience for parents and little ones, with 30 stores across South Africa and one in the UK. “We invest in beautiful products for ourselves, so why not give your child the same?”

With over 350 suppliers to choose from and products ranging from clothing to toys, prams and furniture, Caryn and her team are able to source almost anything you need. “With so many products on offer, we can’t keep them all in-store, but they’re just a phone call away and most can be customised to suit your needs. Bring us your Pinterest boards and we’ll make your vision a reality.”

Take a look around the store and you’ll see a number of award-winning innovations, providing solutions that are convenient, cost-effective and eco-friendly.

Pregnancy can be a difficult time, as (to start) you don’t know what to wear! Caryn applies her love of fashion to maternity clothing, selecting a range of classic and trendy pieces from Cherry Melon and Annabella Maternity to help you feel yourself. Plus, they can source others for you. “It’s so important to try before you buy. You never really know what size you’ll be.”

Kids Emporium manufactures a range of furniture in Cape Town; perfectly practical for baby, but stylish enough to use in any room. These can all be customised to fit your space and colour scheme.

If you’re looking for the very best for your baby, with expert advice, then be sure to visit Kids Emporium at Lillies Quarter. Stock changes regularly and there’s a wealth of information available to you. All you need to do is ask!

“Don’t be shy. Ask about our products and to see our catalogues,” says Caryn. “We would love to help you make the best choice for you and your child.”
