June 7, 2011. It’s time to get out the heater and winter blankies, cold weather and driving rain moving across the country from the south-west is expected to bring colder weather and rain to Durban in the next few days.
Bitingly cold weather is expected across parts of South Africa, with the chance of snow on the Berg.
According to the South African Weather Service Durban will reach a maximum of 24C on Wednesday, with 60% chance of rain; it will be colder on Thursday with temps hovering between 14C and 21C and chances of heavier rain; Friday will see similar conditions with a high probability of rainfall.
If you’re travelling there will be extremely cold conditions in the North West, Free State and Northern Cape.
