It was with deep regret that we learned of the death of our much loved resident pet shrink, Glynne Anderson.
Glynne, who ran the hugely successful Canine Academy for many years in Hillcrest, had been delivering her unique brand of humour in a regular column in The Crest from its inception.
The former art teacher/artist was universally known for her outspoken ways, and her extraordinary sense of humour. She’d recently had major back surgery, and had also been diagnosed with cancer.
As her son Jan said, “She is finally free of the pain and is across the rainbow bridge with all her old dogs.”
Our sincere condolences to Jan and all of her beloved animals. She will be sadly missed by everyone.

I had some pretty serious beavioural issues with my 6-month-old German Shepherd. Glynne sorted it out within minutes. She was the best, no doubt.
The pet world has lost a special friend. I wrote to her about introducing a cat I had adopted to my two dogs and her advice worked like a dream. All three today are the best of friends. My sincere condolences to her family….human and animal
