Lake, Smit & Partners’ Breast Cancer Awareness Month donation is an annual event, now in its 9th year.
On Wednesday, 21 August 2019, the event was held at the Just for Women Digital Mammography Centre. The event involved a cheque handover to two non-profit organisations, namely Reach for Recovery and The Highway Hospice. Each year, a percentage of all mammograms performed during the month of October is set aside for this specific donation. These two organisations were the proud recipients of donations amounting to R83 000 respectively.
Lake, Smit & Partners is proud to aid in the effort to support breast cancer survivors and terminally ill patients by recognising these two organisations.
