Cane Cutters resort in Sheffield Beach is hosting its 7th annual leechee picking festival. It will start around the 16th December, or as soon as the litchis are ripe, and will carry on until the last litchi is picked.
At R80 for adults, R40 for kids under twelve and R20 for kids under six, you get 1.5kgs of litchis, and as many as you can eat while picking, a tractor trip into the orchard, and an Aquelle litchi water.
It will be open from 9am to 3pm and you can finish off your day at their restaurant where the kids can play in the pool or on the bouncy castle, while you relax in the restaurant.
