The Catalina Theatre opened its doors ten years ago on the 12th December 2002, and to celebrate this momentous milestone the latest production celebrates its first night on the same date. The 39 Steps is a spoof version of the famous film, with a twist….four actors play a total of a hundred and thirty nine roles.
Themi Venturas had to travel to London to learn the show, and the whole film is recreated with the four actors often playing several parts at the same time! Imagine the legendary scenes including the chase on the Flying Scotsman, the escape on the Forth Bridge and the death defying finale, played out by a cast of four.
