This weekend sees both the beginning of the Super Rugby games at Kings Park as the Sharks take on the Stormers. This wonderful time of year in Durban heralds lost weekends and the smell of a thousand braais at the rear of a thousand cars in the biggest rugby after party in the world. I can’t wait.
If you are needing more of a sports fix, on Friday the T20 between South Africa and Pakistan takes place at Kingsmead. This promises to be a fantastic, fast moving piece of cricketing entertainment and it’s on our doorstep. Tickets range from R50 to sit on the grass, R50 for pensioners, and they go up to R250 for the upper South Stand.
