Andrea Duigan, a doctor from Johannesburg, put herself in their capable hands for her makeover transformation. “As Andrea’s warm skintone throws out a lot of pink when wearing the incorrect colour, we counteracted this by enhancing the warmth in her clothing, make-up and hair,” said Fay.
“Her career as a doctor also requires a much more mature and professional look, which we achieved by balancing her A-shape body – widening her shoulders and narrowing down her hips and thighs.”
Grant Harper of Terry Scott Hair Design used a combination of Wella Illumina light brunette blonde 9/7, lightest gold violet blonde 10/36, Koleston special blonde 12/7 and Blondor lightening powder to create a multi-toned warm blonde. He then layered Andrea’s long hair from short to longer in the front and customised the texture of her naturally curly hair to create a soft and feminine look.
